Emma Knapton is a mixed-media artist and outdoor enthusiast. Her preferred mediums include stop-motion animation, fabrication, and painting.
Her passion for stop-motion animation production developed as a child while creating miniature items for her dollhouse. Emma’s mixed-media practice draws from personal narrative and her appreciation for nature. She experiments with recycled materials, textiles, sculpture, and photography to incorporate into her methods of making. Emma obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and is a current social media intern for the Oregon Forest Resources Institute in Portland Oregon.
